iPhone XS Is the iPhone 12 screen the same as my iPhone XS or worse?

The iPhone XR display and 11 was horrible with its 828p display but now that the standard non pro models this year have OLED is it the exact same sharpness as my XS or worse? I’m debating whether I wanna upgrade from my gold iPhone XS to a Red 12...anyone have both phones that they could compare the displays?

Sorry I picked the 12 pro in this comparison but the screen on the 12 is identical expect for the brightness. It’s 650 nits vs 800 nits but both do hdr at 1200 nits.

It’s a bigger size, a higher resolution, higher contrast ratio, and it’s brighter. I don’t quite know what you’re going for, but no, they’re not the same screen. They will obviously look similar though just as pretty much any OLED screen will look similar.

The 12 has an overall better screen than the XS, although in reality it will probably look about the same.
