Is the new iPad 9.7 good enough for heavy GarageBand use?

I have no idea what specs are needed to make lots of music in GarageBand.

Is it good enough? (No lagging, quality sound, enough storage, etc)

Quality sound and enough storage is not really dependent on any iPad model for that matter. They’ll all produce similar quality tracks and you’ll have to buy the model that has enough storage capacity for your usage.

When it comes to performance, the pro models clearly have an advantage. Not in terms of day to day use but more when you render a track / a video project.
