I'm deciding whether I'll need the nano texture option for the studio display, so I thought how reflective the standard coating really is. I have a 14" MBP and a 13" Pro M1 - do either of these use the same glass/coating as the standard glass of the Studio Display?

Or, are they just as reflective? It would give me an idea on whether I need nano texture without having to buy two Studio Displays and returning one.

Edit: I also have an old iMac from ~2010 but I read Apple improved the reflective coating since then.

I would say it’s similar to the MacBook screen when it comes to reflection. I looked at the display in the Apple Store next to my MacBook 14”.

The nano texture I didn’t like because it made the screen a bit blurry (definitely visible when displaying text / code, but might be ok for video / graphics)
