Is there a Standalone HomeKit App for Big Sur

Hi Guys,

Since the iOS 16.4 upgrade HomeKit New Architecture, my iMac Big Sur would stuck at “configuring HomePod & Apple TV”. Is there a standalone HomeKit app for Big Sur?

No. Even if there was, it'd be tapping into the code libraries provided by the OS and still wouldn't work. The new architecture requires the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, and Ventura. This is why the architecture upgrade is a separate and optional upgrade, so that those with older devices/OSes can still use the Home app until all their devices have been updated. Unfortunately, there is no way to downgrade the Home architecture once you've upgraded it.
