Hello all -
I am having a weird problem on a new iMac (Sierra) and was wondering if anyone knows what is going on.
If I navigate to a folder and open a document the background slides laterally and disappears.
The document opens above another open window (such as an open Safari window).
On some occasions the documents will open on the upper right of the screen.
How do I get the documents to open and close within the original folder and stop all this sliding?
Note - I do have a second monitor for photo processing but I have that as a second desktop in Mission Control.
All my apps are assigned to the primary (iMac) desktop.
Really tearing my hair out so I would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks - Dave
