I see you are in Canada! Not sure if that's correct or not. Check out this possible alternative. I just ordered some RAM for my Mac Pro 2.66 I just ordered today. I found this Canadian site which seems to have excellent pricing on the correct RAM for the Mac Pro's.

2 gigs for $389.99 is a steal. I run it in my Mac Pro, works awesome and the heat sinks on the RAM look identical to the Apple stock ram.

My guess is that the RAM in this link is without heat sinks, which would be problematic.

If you don't mind me asking, what RAM pack did you buy?

I bought the "4096Mb kit" (4 gig) for $958 (CDN) plus $13 shipping. This will give me a total of 6 gigs. Their 2 gig kit sells for $509 and their 1 gig for $338 (all CDN $). Considering my 2 Mac dealers here want $599 for a 2 gig kit and $1179 for a 4 gig kit, I found these prices to be quite reasonable. They ship from Vancouver, BC.
