.iso – How do you burn this to DVD for a standalone player?

The 'title' line pretty much says it all. How do you deal with a homevideo that's in .iso format --- how do you make it viewable on a standalone DVD player? I've read that some PC users use Nero to read .iso files, what Mac apps read/extract/etc. do the same?
