I have been having some issues with some apps behaving differently since updating to Mojave that I have never experienced before. I'm not sure if this is intended behaviour or something is wrong on my side.
When I am using an app fullscreen, once in a while the Mail app will randomly pop up (as in pic below). Mostly seems to happen when I watch movies, but I have experienced it at other times as well.

Another issue that seems to be movie (Quicktime) related - in past versions, when I would scroll to the left on my trackpad, it would go back a few seconds in the movie. Now it just takes me to the beginning.
So is this normal behavior? Or did something mess up on my side while updating?
