Hmm, the extension is possibly a kext, and rootless is probably preventing it, if it wasn't already installed pre 10.11 update. So a fresh install fails.

guys, where could I find the beta you're talking about? If I am checking updates in iStat Menus it says I have 5.10 installed and everything is up to date.

Please advice! thanks

On their twitter feed, exactly as Bjango said it would be earlier in this thread?

Just as Jocamero said - great work, really impressed at the turnaround.

In case you missed it on twitter, here's the link to the beta.

It's working thus far. Yay! It really speaks volumes about a developer when they fix there software this quickly even for developer previews. Thanks Bjango, you guys rock!

This sort of post is helpful to find the download link. Its a lot more helpful than this:

Odd glitch I've discovered. On the MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 Non Retina) everything works as normal, however on the iMac (Mid 2007) the CPU/GPU usage menu doesn't work, all the others work fine though.

Same with my late 2012 27" iMac. Everything but CPU/GCU. Also the switches don't show their state.....

They've just updated their new beta:

"That link will download iStat Menus 5.11 (610). We’ve fixed a bit in the last 24 hours, so it might be newer than the version you have."

Yep, whatever the issue with fresh install was seems to be fixed. Shame about losing the reposition-able menu items, but I know that's not their fault. I'll continue never understanding why apple restrict that for third parties.

iStat is now in between my notification center and spotlight icons. Is anyone else seeing this?

The program completely broke for me, which isn't surprising given that the developer got DP1 the same day as me to make the necessary coding updates.
