In order to automate my switch-less fan, I purchased the Insteon 2475F FanLinc.
I am not looking to add the automation features - so a controller is required. I have 3 options:
1. isy994i
2. Insteon Hub Pro
3. Insteon Bridge
After researching, I am finding that the isy994i is more expensive because it offers more programming options and can control other devices. That would be nice, but not worth the extra cost for me (I don't think). I just need a controller that is reliable and can give me a HomeKit interface for 1 (and in the future 3 more) fans.
I think the Hub Pro (#2) is so bad that it's been discontinued. What about the Insteon Bridge? Is this the upgrade?
Maybe the isy994i, though overkill, is worth the investment?
