iPhone 15/Plus It is mind boggling that iPhone 15 Plus weighs less than iPhone 14 Pro (not Max)

iPhone 14 Pro weight - 206 grams
iPhone 15 Plus weight - 201 grams

If it weren't for Pro Motion, I would be so tempted to get the iPhone 15 Plus. As I'm holding my iPhone 14 Pro in my hand, I can't believe having a Plus size screen with all that real estate will still weigh less than the 14 Pro in my hand.

We've seen this for a while. You're paying for the chassis weight.

Aluminum weighs a lot less than stainless steel. It's the reason why Apple went from SS to Al for iPhone 5. Apple Watch SS weighs 30% more than the Al version.

They did sort of remedy this issue with the 15 Pro (187 grams), and its Titanium frame which weights less than the 15 Plus.

idk right now im stuck between the 15 plus and the pro max i need 256 gb so that makes the price difference 200 bucks after tax so im stuck with its worth the 200 for the better camera and pro motion but it also weighs like 30 grams heavier so idk im stuck over this
