iTunes: Any faster way to change genres for lots of albums?

I have a lot of genres and lots with very similar names (Alt. Rock, Alternative, Alternative Rock, Alternative Rock/Indie, etc.). I've started going through each genre and changing the songs or album to different ones, which is taking forever. Is there a quicker way to do this? Any program that could search for any genre with "Alternative" in it and change it to that? Haven't even looked at Hip-hop vs. hip hop vs. rap vs. hip-hop/rap...

has a wide variety of scripts to do useful and automated things within iTunes. You'd have to look for it, but I'd wager there's one there that will do what you want!
