Itunes remote app stopped working after itunes update

Hello all,

This morning I upgraded itunes to version 12.1.2.27.
Now my iPad remote app can no longer connect to the library.
I have tried deleting the library and adding it back with a new code.
I have ensured home sharing is on.
Still, my app can not connect to the libary since the update.

Issue fixed after reboot of Mac Mini

It happened again! Just lost all connection to the library for no reason I could see... Oh Apple.. Please stop screwing up things that work with you updates!
