I recently found my 3g in a box and plugged it into my mid 2017 5k iiMac running 10.14.6 Mojave, with iTunes 12.9.5.5. The backup area was greyed out, and there was an update request to 4.2. After reading a bit about it, I decided I'd try to update, but it said the update would erase all my phone's data. I really need to backkup EVERYTHING on that phone, especially the voice memos. When I plugged it in, there was no voice memos section in itunes for this phone which worried me. Can someone help me understand what to do to backup and save all my data? The screen does not work also. I believe the version it's on is 3.13.
