I'd like to jailbreak my AppleTV2 using these instructions - http://appletvblogr.com/2011/01/how-to-install-xbmc-for-apple-tv-2g-tutorial/

But for the life of me I can't even get pass the second step which is:

Step 1. Open Terminal on your Apple computer (or another command line based client)

Step 2. Connect via SSH into your Apple TV.
- Type the following:
ssh root@YOURIPADDRESS

I get this connection refused message in Terminal:

Rolandos-MBP:~ ro_mbp$ ssh root@10.0.1.XX
ssh: connect to host 10.0.1.XX port 22: Connection refused

I disabled my firewall and that didn't work.

My set up:
- I have an Apple Airport Extreme
- Wireless Mode - Create a wireless network
- I have an Airport Express
- Wireless Mode - Join a wireless network
- WPA/WPA2 Personal for both
- NAT is enabled with port forwarding for one of my applications on a different computer
- IPv6 Mode is set up as 'Tunnel'
- Firewall of router is set up 'Allow incoming IPSec Authentication

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Any suggestions?
- I use OpenDNS

Those instructions describe how to install XBMC on a jailbroken device, not how to do the jailbreak itself.

I don't own one so I can't point you any further, but you'll need to find jailbreaking instructions.
