macOS Java behind a proxy

I cant seem to get some pages that contain java to work properly.

i am behind a proxy because i am at uni. it says: failed to connect to http://www.abcde.com:80.

port 80 has to go through my proxy, how do i configure this (its not in the configuration program) if it helps i am using the new version of java.

Are you testing locally? or trying to host your own website and access it from outside your network? More information is needed like where are you hosting these and how you are trying to access them.
