I resorted to sending Apple feedback using the iPhone category. It's the wrong category as that is supposed to be for the hardware, but I didn't know what else to do.
As I use Journal app, I do see a place for it for quick documenting of certain things, especially in linking it back to actual activity (e.g., workouts, podcasts, etc.) I think it needs to do more, like make recommendations from Books, from Health app, and those recommendations need to occur at a much quicker pace than hours after the activity was completed.
