Firstly I know nothing about scripting, so please bare with.

There’s currently a known bug with external drives on TB3 where the drive is half powered down after two minutes. In my case it’s an OWC 8 Bay RAID which I edit video and photos off. OWC are aware on it and are lobbying Apple to fix it.
The main issue come when I’m working on colour grading in either Lightroom Classic or doing a none disk read tasks, the drive has gone into this half sleep mode. It take another 30 seconds to fire back up again. This happening several time an hour is costing me valuable time, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

So, to the point. Can this be scripted so that a small packet of data is written to the drive every 90 seconds thus keeping the RAID from going into this zombie state?

Please ignore. I’ve managed to find an app which does what I need.
