Keep WhatsApp number on new iPhone?

I'm about to get an iPhone 15 Pro, but I don't have the sim attached to the current WhatsApp number I have.

Will I be able to keep the same number? If so, how?

No, you need the number to activate it.
Maybe in the settings you can set an E-Mail Address as alrernative verification. This should work but I did not test it. Other than that you have no chance when you don`t have the SIM anywhere near you.

You can if you transfer from a previous iPhone during the migration process. If not, you'll need access to the SIM due to the confirmation text required.
