Hi, I'm wondering if any of you use those thin transparent protection sheets for the touchpad and keyboard of your MacBooks. If you do use them, are they any good and do they make it more difficult to type / use the trackpad?

The only other Macbook I had was from 2007 and the trackpad on that wore down over the years to the point where it wasn't very pleasant to look at or touch anymore. I read somewhere that touchpads have some kind of matt finish to them that rubs off over time. Replacing a transparent protection sheet sounds interesting to me so long as it remains good to use.

I also saw some people talk of keyboard cloths to protect their screen from finger grease. If you have anything to say on that I'd be interested to know. I can't actually find any of those here in France but I'm considering using a large microfibre cloth instead.
