iPad Keynote on iPad Pro using iPhone as remote

I am having a bit of trouble. It works perfectly with both connected to WiFi but need to it to work when out at a client place and WiFi is not available. Bluetooth is supposed to work in keynote to use the iPhone as the remote to advance slides in Keynote on the iPad Pro. As I said it works with wifi enabled but with only BT turned on the iPad won’t find the iPhone and vice versa.... any ideas??

Yup that worked! Bonus I can read presenter notes on the iPhone! This is awesome!!
