iPad Killing apps with touchpad?

Hi,

I’m loving my iPad with touchpad support but I can’t work out how to kill / close apps once you have the app switcher / thingy appear. Obviously I can you a gesture to get all of my apps shown and I can move left or right but I can’t flick an app up to kill it.
Anyone know how to do it? Or did Apple forget to implement it?

While in app switcher swipe upwards over an app with two fingers (Magic Trackpad 2, iPad Pro 2017).

Thank you! I have no idea why I couldn’t work this out (must be getting old). I was trying the ’click and flick’!
