So now Catalina after sleeping on my iMac Late 2013, loses preferred or known network. I only have one network name. I have to keep adding it. Tried Deleting WiFi, creating locations name, reboot, PRAM/NVRAM, SMC, Safe Boot, Test user admin with no iCloud account for test user. Only thing I haven't done is turn off keychain in the cloud on the iMac and turn it back on. Because I did that once over a year ago and it would not re-enable. I had to clean install and start from scratch.
