LaCie drive not able to Blocked

Hi guys

Any one help to out the situation we are facing issue we are using Mac os X10.8.5 we have blocked the USB port using Extension deleting but we are able to read LaCie USB drive except of other USB mass storage.
Only LaCie product usb 3.0 able to read
Please help
