So I have one payment left on my X due next month, the rep on the chat said I DONT need to make that last payment and I can still get the trade in value, can anyone verify ?

Don’t take the word of some random rep. It’s common sense that you need to pay off the phone prior to trading it off. You don’t own it until the final payment is made.
