Greetings. My golden brown leather band has taken a beating and now has black discoloration marks.

I wear it every day and a few weeks ago I accidentally rubbed it against something in the garage (likely grease/dirt) which has slowly gotten darker over time. I realize I need to be a lot more careful and selective when and how I wear it.

Is there any way to repair/clean?

It looks like it might be worn past the dye. I think the only way to get the color back is to re dye the worn areas. The leather will wear much like leather seats in a car, shoes. On the bright side, the “distressed/worn“ look is great on the brown. Gives it that quasi vintage look
