Hi all,
My MBP 2009 was working fine until this evening when it wouldn't wake up from sleep ( I had used it about 20 min prior and it was fine). So I hard-reset it using the power button and then it kept resetting continuously whith the beach ball.
I performed a verbose boot and noticed it had an I/O error so i logged into single mode and performed fsck -y repeatedly. Each time it comes back with "File System was Modified" but never recovers on reboot. I get an error saying it has trouble replaying from journal.
What can I try to recover? I really need some of the files on my hard drive, so reformat is not an option.
Is there a way to disable journalling while still in boot?
Thanks in advance.
