Let's talk about AirPods talk time

I assumed it was 5hours of talk and listening time, but I was wrong. I face timed with my gf using the AirPods tonight and they barely lasted 2hrs??

I have a LG wireless headset and a cheapy I wireless EarPods copy I purchased a few months back from BB. They both last a lot longer than my AirPods.

Use one and charge the one that you don't use. They'll last forever that ways.
I also have phonaks comcoms and the sound of those are much, much better when compared to the AirPods. I was a bit disappointed at the hollow sound of the microphone.

Something else, 2 hours FaceTime? You two need to get together

In the tech specs, Apple claims 2 hours of talk time.

The Apple promised 2 hours of talk time and 5 hours of listening time is with 50% volume.
