Hi all,

Just picked up my new MacBook this morning. After installing from a backup, I am now being asked to enter my password into a texted box with a background. Before, the login page showed my name with the avatar, now it has a pop up box stating "you must enter a password to unlock the screen".

Any ideas on how to fix this? I would like to take advantage of the touchID

Have you checked settings / Users & Groups / Login Options to make sure the display login window as list of users is set?
