logitech signal receptor

hi there. i'm thinking of buying the Logitech® S 530 keyboard but I don't want the mouse that comes with it because I own the MX1000, that works very nice. however, i dont want to spend 2 usb ports with their IR receivers.
Do you know if the keyboard will work with the mouse's receiver? thanks

Heh i was wondering the same thing. Great Keyboard though, i got it a few weeks ago and love the buttons on the side, especially with itunes as you dont have to have itunes visible at all to change the song and you dont need to have any keyboard shortcuts.
