On my main workstation, I currently have Gmail web client handling several incoming and outgoing accounts with filters and other custom settings. I'd love to move to a native MacOS app but not so badly that I want to reconfigure all those settings. I just installed the trial version of Mimestream, which is great - I just logged in with my primary gmail account and ALL of my settings were imported on the spot. And from what I can tell, all of those settings can be modified from within the app and be saved to the account (so the updates are in place when I use the web app on a different machine). The only problem I have with this is that there does not appear to be a desktop widget that will allow me to preview my X most recent messages, reply to them or compose a new one.

Is anone aware of a mail client that can do all of these wonderful things?
