Lookup Mac by serial number

I remember people posting information from a website about their Mac based on the serial number. I've tried searching, but I can't find the thread. It included when the Mac was made, where it was made, and perhaps warranty information?

Can anyone provide a link. I'm just curious where my PB and PM were made and when. Thanks!
