Lost facility in Catalina

2018 15" MBP.

To date I have resisted updating my MBP so have been running OS 10.14.6 Mojave but a program I needed wouldn't run on Mojave so I had to update to 10.15.7 Catalina

Program runs just fine and must admit the computer runs much faster but I have lost a facility.

In Mojave, if I swiped the touchpad to the left with three fingers it took me to a screen where I kept things like time zones, conversion apps and the like. Now in Catalina this swipe doesn't work.

Is this something I have to set up again or just not available?

Dashboard has been removed in Catalina. I don't know if anyone's tried to bring it back. It seems like it should be a relatively separate thing without requiring too much os-specific integration so perhaps it's possible with some judicious library copying and swizzling.
