Hi All,
My daughter lost her old iPod touch (5th gen) several weeks ago. It showed as "Offline" in Find iPhone. I put it into lost mode, and forgot about it. Today I got an email for an attempted password reset on her iCloud account. Suspecting someone found it, I went into "Find iPhone" app and now it shows as a new name ("Normans ipod"... whereas previously it said my daughter's name) but still "Offline". I put it into lost mode again.
My questions are:
1. How did someone manage to get their name on it if it was in lost mode? Shouldn't it be locked?
2. Why can't I see the last location when it connected to the internet (which it must have or I wouldn't be able to see the new name on it)?

I realize I'm probably not going to get it back but I'd like to get some closure on it.
