Hi!

I have unlimited data on my phone so I'm using it for all my internet needs. Share to my iPad is a problem because it always switch to low data mode. Even if I switch it of as soon as I leave the settings app everything is back to low data mode. Streaming movies takes a long time and in low resolution. Someone know how to keep the low data mode switched off? Thanks

Sounds like you’re using your iPhone cellular connection’s as a hotspot to connect your iPad, and do not use a wi-fi network on your phone. Is this correct?

When you say you’re turning off Low Data Mode, on which device are you doing that? Are you turning it off on both your iPhone > Cellular and iPad > Wi-Fi?

Which of those two settings does it not stayed disabled?

Which of those two settings does it not stayed disabled? On the ipad

The pictures is from the ipad

Did this start happening after an update to your iPad? You may want to try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings or Reset All Settings to see if either helps to resolve it.

Low data mode is automatically switched on when an iOS is joining a personal hotspot broadcast by another iOS device. This is to prevent the initial inrush of data when you first connect and your device starts downloading updates, email, messages, etc etc.
