I ordered this case as it is in stock on Amazon and not many iPad Air 2 cases are in stock on Amazon. This case looks spectacular on my Gold iPad Air 2.

I ordered this case today for my gold as well and these pics make me glad I did. It looks really slim but like it'd still offer some decent protection. Are the sides around the bezel flimsy at all or is it a tight fit?

The only compromise is from the soaker grill to the other speaker grill cutout. It is flimsy there. No other issues there;)

Oh no I'm always near my home button and holding in that area as i mostly use landscape. Hopefully it isn't too bad.

Is the Luvvitt worth the money? I'm considering this even though id prefer a leather case from like Kavaj or something. But this is a lot cheaper :)

I bought the Luvitt Dolce from Amazon and an iPad1 Smart cover on eBay, both for under $30. They have both shipped and will be here before my new iPad. Seemed like the best option since the current available selection of cases is so small. I don't mind spending on a good case, but the choices are not good right now, so I'll wait.

How has this case been? The Amazon reviews are saying its flimsy/loose and that it stretches after use?

Stretches? The only issue I find is the TPU strips above the speaker grills are flimsy. Other than that, it is a great case. It is a little slippery though.

Thanks for clarifying! These reviews are sometimes over exagerrated lol

FYI, I got this case as well and I thought it was terrible. I mean, it may be an ALRIGHT case if it was $2-3 but for $15 there is no way its worth it. I have an Arctic BoxWave Crystal Slip case for the original iPad Air that cost $5 and its much better quality than this one. The TPU is thicker, more durable, and feels better. The case for the original iPad Air actually fits better on the iPad Air 2 than this one does… At least on my case, the bottom of the case is very flimsy… the TPU just isn't tight enough on the bottom so its extremely loose. Even when not trying to pull on the TPU it comes off the iPad which is annoying.

I'm sure LUVVITT will revise this case and fix the problems, as most of their cases are great… but I assume they made this one from a prototype prior to having the actual iPad Air 2 in hand as its not up to par with their other cases.

I think it is worth it. Slim and minimal, plus it's clear! I'm a reviewer and have reviewed over 100 cases. This is a great case.

I got this case as a bandaid until the Power Support Air Jacket is released.

It's ok, but near the home button is flimsy, and the two tabs on either side of the lightning jack on the bottom prevent my Belkin dock from being used. So I performed surgery, and its even flimsier now... Worth $15, but not any more IMO. I wouldn't keep this case on a $600 device in the long term as my ipad rarely leaves the house.

Come on Air Jacket! :D

That's why the 2 TPU pieces on the sides of the lightning port are there, to not make it flimsy:). Case costs less than a dollar to make probably. I'm guessing it costs $15 because it is one of the first iPad Air 2 cases available.

The LUVVITT team must have gotten word of the bad reviews because they are flooding the case with 5 star excellent reviews now… and of course all from people who didn't purchase it on Amazon.

That's what it looks like. Wow. Really bad.
