After pre-ordering the base M1 iMac in blue (EDU pricing), my Apple Card was immediately charged for the 12 month 0% interest; but no 3% cash back.
May 21, 2021:
Just got the 3% after the iMac shipped out of China!
Saved $50 EDU and $52.08 on Apple Cash back.

Since I spent the $100 savings towards the $199 Pro Apps Bundle for EDU (Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Compressor, Mainstage, etc)...
Guess it still was a good deal.
