Hey,

I am waiting for my new MacBook Pro M1 Max. Up to 4 external displays are possible and I am asking myself, how many displays I could use with my Thunderbolt 3 Dock to get 1 cable charging and docking.

Currently I use an OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock with my Windows PC which is in another room (50 m Corning Optical Thunderbolt Cable). Everything works fine with it.

I would like to know if I can use my OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock with my M1 Max MacBook with both of the display outputs used of the dock (USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode and miniDP).

With my Mac mini M1 it's possible to use two displays, but not via one Thunderbolt Port. Only with USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode + HDMI. So the Dock is not very useful with M1 chips.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,
