Under very rare circumstances they can be used for free or low cost upgrades to the latest version of the software (for example those who bought 10.0 retail got a free upgrade to 10.1 via the coupons).

99% of the time they are useless.

I've got four of them, perhaps I can use two for discounts on iLife '06 and the upcoming 10.5 Leopard...

hey all I got some coupons that state they are for the OS and Ilife(os x, Ilife '05), and another set of 4 for Ilife '05. Dose anyone know what they are for? I am going to ask the apple store people at our university see what they think. I will try to post what they tell me

The guy at the mac store on campus thinks that the one coupons that i have seem to be for a discount on the Ilife '06, nothing more or less!
