Mac frozen during install of Mojave

started upgrading my 2017 15” MacBook Pro to Mojave. Everything seem okay but it’s stuck at the end of the install. Apple logo and status bar almost to end. But has been stuck there for hours.

Any suggestions? Called Apple support and they are saying to wait, could take several hours
