Mac ipod on windows

I work at an apple premium reseller in Holland and promised to jailbreak a costumers iPod. I will be performing the jailbreak on mac os x but he uses windows @ home. Will he be able yo use the mac formated touch? I plugged my own in a windows pc, and it didn't say anything about it being mac formated. Just want to be sure, so I ask your opinions.
