The wide screen i have is making all of the font small in every application on the mac mini. I've played with the different settings and it doesn't seem like there is a default option for the 28" wide screen without jeopardizing the ability to read the screen. when its set to have propper resolution the font is tiny and when i make the resolution less than the font gets slightly bigger but i'm sacrificing resolution.

Is there a way to make the mac mini adjust to the 28" wide monitor? right now everytime a new page loads i have to zoom in to read it.

Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!!!

Please provide details on display resolution, a screenshot of the Display preferences pane (with the scaling button clicked whilst holding the alt button so we can see all the options)
And information on connection method
