Hi,

I'm setting up my new Mac Mini (2018) as a home file/video/etc server. Old one (2011 server) reconnected to Wifi after remote reboot withawithoutout any problem. New mini unfortunately connects to WiFi only after login which makes it unusable for remote work (I need to reboot now and then on distance).

Anyone has solution for this? I guess it's and OSX issue not Mini specific, anyway I'm posting in post threads in hope of fast resolution.

Thanks all.

p.s. - I'm super happy with original mini - upgraded to ssd and survived until now when it can not handle 4k video anymore... I hope this new one (i7) works as well...

V.

Hi,
Regarding your 4k videos, you might want to give a shot to this lightweight freeware player: https://iina.io
It allowed me to play 4k videos on my Mac mini 2012. It uses very few resources and plays every single audio/video format you throw at it.
