Until now, I was blaming Adobe for this, but my M2 Pro mini is just terrible to use right now. In InDesign, triple-clicking on a text box selects what is inside it, but it only works when I do it slowly. And now in the finder, double-clicking on an icon does nothing unless I slow it down a bit (makes working to deadlines a little more difficult!!). I'm running Sonoma 14.3, and have tried with both wireless and wired mice; in comparison to my Intel iMac is hypersensitive by comparison! Any ideas? Thanks.

While InDesign is running, if you go to Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor - can you sort by "Kind"? I am curious if you are running Intel versions of these applications. Or if there are other Intel applications running.
