Mac Mini should suit my needs

I am currently using a dual 867 mirror door G4 with 1 G ram and 256 Radeon vid card. It runs tiger. the cd drive is broken and watching HD youtube vids is a chore. the vid card leaves artifacts on the screen when you scroll down. Some sites lag this mac. The sites with all the ads and stuff.


I want to get the new mini. I plan to get either the new iPhone or iPad, so I will need the new OS. Dont want to spend the $$ on new OS for current mac.

My needs are small. Surfing the net, posting on forums, email. The only games I want to run are Quake 4, Diablo 2, thats about it.

I use my PS3 for all my gaming needs.

I have an old Mac mini and the thing gets the job done.

The new Mac mini, for its price, has a lot to offer. I think technology has made this more than just a bare bones PC. The hard drive and processor, alone, are great at this price point.

Dollar for dollar, it's the best deal Apple has in their product line of all products next to the nano.

The nano is next on my list, and then the new Mac mini.
