There is a problem with my Mac Mini's sound. The sound only works in iTunes, Quicktime and Finder noises (like when I turn up the volume). I can't hear anything in Safari or WinMedia Play for example. Its really annoying, or it would be if I didn't use my iMac most of the time.
I have looked around in system preferences and in the menus of all the programs affected. I think someone in my family screwed up, but I have no idea how to fix it.
