Alright, after searching 7 pages back, i'm thinking my problem is unique. I have Mac OSX server 10.4.9 running on my PB g4. why? because i want to share... 
okay, and i sold my tiger client disk with the iMac, which had server installed on it. so, im stuck with a server install on a Powerbook, which is fine aside from the bloat. but, on to the problem!!!
I had the inclination to set up the PB as a gateway for my 360, because of less lag+ filesharing. wrong. now, i definetly cant get on from my 360, but more pressing is that i cannot get online with my PB. but im more thinking that all it is is that i've routed the internet to the ethernet, and the PB cant get ahold of it. So, any advice, any more info you need to help, would be GREATLY appreciated, because im really quite sick of booting from a scratch install on a partition just for internet.
