Hi,
I´m struggeling with installing windows 10 as dualboot on my mac pro 4.1(5.1 firmware).

I downloaded .iso file from microsoft, fixed the usb-stick for installing and disconnected all disks except the ssd im installing on.

Windows installs, boots normally to setup mode and then brings me to homescreen. After that, it wants to restart to install some drivers. After that reboot, it is stuck in a automatic diagnostics/repair-mode, where it runs and then reboots over and over.

I disabled automatic restart (https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/90923-enable-disable-automatic-repair-windows-10-a.html)

Now i get a 0xc00001 failure code.

someone that has a solution?

GO back and re enable the reboot. After the 3rd reboot it will come up to the repair screen. Select safe mode with networking. After you boot to safe mode go to the device manager and select Microsoft basic display video driver for the card. Then you can reboot in normal mode. The latest WHQL driver for this card is from 2016

You can try installing it and see if you have any issues. If the issue is still there use the basic adapter (which is what I do).
If you ever try to run both RX-580 and the GT-120 together in windows the only way is if the GT-120 is with basic display adapter (and make sure windows does not change it). Let us know if you succeed.

So I tried this, and it worked. The key is to not let windows automaticlly install the driver for nvidia gt 9500(Dont know why the lable is that for the gt 120). Thanks for the help!
