I'm very new to the Mac Pro 6,1. This is my first and only 6,1.
Purchased the following memory:

and while physically installing memory modules I ran into problems.
I think I got the first inner (left of the rear ports) module in OK, (again I'm not sure how the "click" should feel) I ran into more problems installing the outer module.
Did not attempt to install modules on the other side.
I'm back at the config of 4x4GB for total of 16GB.
Will this purchased RAM physically install OK, and work OK if I remove the heat spreaders?
I purchased this set for $80 vs "2013 Mac Pro 128GB" for $200.
