I finally replaced the power supply and C15 resistor on the analog board of my Mac SE to get it running. While it will boot, it displays these “Jailbars” the entire time. I’ve read on the Dead Mac Scrolls that this can be a RAM issue, but whenever I try to install RAM in just two of the slots for troubleshooting, the machine won’t boot at all. With all four sticks in, it will boot, but of course I get the jailbars. I've switched out all four sticks with four known good sticks of Panasonic RAM from Mac Memories.

I also understand there is a RAM jumper but I am confused on the settings. I do have an extra resistor on the way to replace it if necessary. What am I doing wrong here? I got absolutely zero help on 68kMLA...

Remove R35 (150 Ohm Resistor) "256K Bit" on the logic board. This allows configurations of 2MB, 2.5MB & 4MB.

If you wish to test just 2MB (2x 1MB SIMMs) - then place a 150 Ohm Resistor at R36 "One Row" and fit the 2 SIMMs into "SIMM 1" and "SIMM 2" slots ONLY.
